Queens Oak Advisors and MAI Capital Management

New York, NY, December 14, 2021 – Park Sutton Advisors, LLC (“Park Sutton Advisors”) is pleased to have represented Queens Oak Advisors, (“QOA”) on its acquisition by MAI Capital Management, LLC (“MAI”), a registered investment adviser specializing in comprehensive investment management and financial planning for high-net-worth individuals and families. Queens Oak Advisors, located in Charlotte, NC, has approximately $550 million in Assets Under Management and offers investment management, comprehensive financial planning, estate planning, retirement planning, asset allocation and tax planning to high net worth and ultra-high net worth families.

Queens Oak founders, Leila Evans and Deems May, will remain with the Company after the acquisition and will continue to lead the Charlotte region for MAI. Leila will assume the role of Regional President of Charlotte and Senior Managing Director, while Deems will take on the role of Director of Business Development. The QOA team has developed attractive niche client markets that align with MAI’s client service philosophy and will be expanded through this acquisition. QOA launched a women’s initiative which is designed to empower women investors with resources to take control of finances and make informed personal financial decisions. This initiative will be adapted across the MAI footprint. Deems, a former NFL player and NFL Players’ Association Representative, will join the rapidly growing MAI Sports + Entertainment division.
