New York, NY, June 10, 2021 – Park Sutton Advisors, LLC (“Park Sutton Advisors”) is pleased to have represented Stewardship Financial Advisors (“Stewardship”) on its sale to CapTrust Financial Advisors (“Captrust”). Stewardship has over $850 million in Assets Under Management and 3 offices in Georgia. The Firm was founded by Charles Pyke in 1997 and offers investment management, estate planning, asset protection and risk management, tax planning, and retirement planning to high net worth and affluent clients.
Founder, Charles Pyke, launched Stewardship with the mission of helping people to be good stewards of all that has been entrusted to them. He stated, “As we grew to meet the needs of our growing client base, we felt it was time to partner with a firm committed to this mission and with the depth of scale to fully meet the responsibilities to our clients.”
The Stewardship team explored various options to move into the next phase of their growth and succession strategy. Park Sutton worked with the team to evaluate a range of internal and external possibilities, including various types of partners and capital sources, and the partners ultimately decided that merging with a larger independent firm would create the best opportunities to bring additional resources to serve clients and continue their high growth trajectory.
Park Sutton Advisors’ Director, John Eubanks, led the assignment. Eubanks stated, “Charles Pyke and his partners, Matt Godleski, Shane Hunter, and Patrick Plunkett operate the business with a client-first mentality, and it was truly a pleasure working with them through the process of finding a like-minded partner for the continued growth and succession of the firm.”
The Southeast remains an attractive market for RIA acquirers. This represents Park Sutton Advisors’ 4th transaction completed in the last six months in the Southeastern U.S. and the 9th transaction overall year-to-date.
